IELTS Listening: one-minute transcriptions

A good way to improve your listening skill is to transcribe short recordings. For example, I'm sure you could manage to transcribe one minute of English every day.

提高聽(tīng)力的一個(gè)好方法就是抄錄短音頻。我覺(jué)得你每天都可以抄一分鐘的英語(yǔ)。

Here's what you could do:

你可以這樣做：

1. Take any recording of English speakers that you find on the Internet, or use an IELTS test. I recommend using news programmes, documentaries, or any part of an IELTS test (section 4 might be the best for this exercise).

選擇任何你從網(wǎng)上找到的講英語(yǔ)的人的錄音，或者用雅思考試的音頻。我建議使用新聞節(jié)目，紀(jì)錄片，或雅思聽(tīng)力考試的任何部分（第四部分可能是這個(gè)練習(xí)的最優(yōu)選擇）。

2. Listen to the first minute of the recording only. Listen to it once without writing anything.

只聽(tīng)錄音的第一分鐘，聽(tīng)一遍，不要寫(xiě)任何東西。

3. Listen to the first minute again, and try to transcribe (write down) everything that you hear. Listen as many times as you need to, until you have the full transcription on paper.

再聽(tīng)一次音頻的第一分鐘，試著謄寫(xiě)（寫(xiě)下）你所聽(tīng)到的一切。重復(fù)聽(tīng)，直到你記下完整的文字記錄。

4. Check your transcription by turning on the subtitles option on the video (most video websites now have this), or by checking at the back of the book, if you're using an IELTS test.

檢查你的筆記。打開(kāi)視頻字幕選項(xiàng)（大多數(shù)視頻網(wǎng)站現(xiàn)在有這個(gè)功能），如果使用雅思考試題，你可以用書(shū)背面的答案檢查。
