CA官網(wǎng)公布2016-2017年美國(guó)本科申請(qǐng)essay題目
近日,CA官網(wǎng)公布了2016-2017年美國(guó)大學(xué)本科申請(qǐng)essay題目,和2015-2016年的相同。據(jù)CA統(tǒng)計(jì),2015-2016年,超過(guò)80萬(wàn)申請(qǐng)人通過(guò)Common application提交申請(qǐng),其中47%的學(xué)生文書寫的是關(guān)于自己的背景、身份、興趣愛好,即第一個(gè)essay題目是選擇最多的。
近日,CA官網(wǎng)公布了2016-2017年美國(guó)大學(xué)本科申請(qǐng)essay題目,和2015-2016年的相同。據(jù)CA統(tǒng)計(jì),2015-2016年,超過(guò)80萬(wàn)申請(qǐng)人通過(guò)Common application提交申請(qǐng),其中47%的學(xué)生文書寫的是關(guān)于自己的背景、身份、興趣愛好,即第一個(gè)essay題目是選擇最多的;有22%的申請(qǐng)人選擇了第5個(gè)題目,寫自己的成就;17%的申請(qǐng)人選擇第二個(gè)題目,寫經(jīng)歷過(guò)的失敗;10%選擇第4個(gè)題目,寫了自己解決的某個(gè)問(wèn)題;剩下4%寫的是第三個(gè)題目(about an idea challenged)。
2016-2017年個(gè)人陳述文書題目( Essay Prompts )如下:
1.Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
2. The lessons we take from failure can be fundamental to later success. Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
3. Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again?
4. Describe a problem you've solved or a problem you'd like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma - anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution.
5. Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.
