米勒中學是一所男女合校制的大學預(yù)備學校，提供8到12年級以及畢業(yè)后課程，招收寄宿和走讀生。
1、信息介紹
1878年建校的時候招收33名學生。作為美國最古老的男女合校之一，米勒中學于1884年開始招收女生。2008-2009學年時米勒成立131周年，從弗吉尼亞州、美國其它各州以及世界各地招收了約150名學生。學校位于弗吉尼亞州的夏洛特維爾西面15英里，占地1600英畝，風景優(yōu)美，還包括一個12英畝的湖泊!除了提供優(yōu)質(zhì)的學術(shù)課程，學校還開設(shè)多種多樣的體育課程。米勒中學注重學生思維、實踐和內(nèi)心世界的全面發(fā)展。 對有實際需要的學生，學校還提供一對一的學習技巧輔導(dǎo)。
學校建于1878年，占地1600英畝，校園內(nèi)有一個12英畝的自然湖。學校非常注重學生的全面發(fā)展，籃球隊剛拿了州冠軍，學校也裝修擴建了幾個實驗室和藝術(shù)工作室，很值得一提的是學校有一個可以加工木器的實驗室，學生的精致作品有：木碗，柜子，還有木作中等等。學生畢業(yè)去向也非常好，這幾年有被哈佛大學，耶魯大學，達特茅斯，弗吉尼亞大學等著名大學錄取的學生。

Miller School of Albemarle is a coeducational day and boarding college preparatory school for students in grades 8-12 and PG. We have a 6 to 1 student-faculty ratio, a student population of approximately 160, and an average class size of 10-12. In addition, a one-on-one study skills course is available for those with a demonstrated need. This environment, where class sizes are kept small and personal attention is readily available, allows students to thrive. Several AP classes are available for qualified students, and our unique Design/Build program allows interested students to explore engineering and architecture while gaining hands-on experience. In addition to a healthy variety of academic courses, the Miller School of Albemarle offers a wide range of athletic programs. We are focused on educating the whole child
